How we work

Clean water takes more than an installation.

Every building, every community and every water source is different. So every project begins by understanding the people, the place and the water — and continues long after the day the system is fitted.

We will take one on the next visit.
01

We listen.

Every project begins with people.

We talk to the organisation that runs the home or shelter, and we ask about the people they care for and the trouble they actually have with their water. Nobody is sold anything.

We design it with local experts.

The right solution for that building.

We work with water-treatment specialists who know the local supply, the plumbing and the community — in Greece, NearonYdor. Together we choose the filtration that building actually needs, not a standard box.

We make it happen.

Funded by the Foundation, fitted by professionals.

The Foundation pays for the equipment and coordinates the project. Qualified local people handle procurement, installation and testing, so the work is done by those who will still be there next year.

And then, we stay.

The part most people skip.

Filters are replaced, systems are serviced, and the water is tested — by Greek laboratories including the University of Athens and the Hellenic Pasteur Institute. Every system the Foundation has placed in Greece is maintained on a schedule.

We stay.

Clean water is not a one-time gift. A filter nobody maintains quietly stops protecting anyone — and nobody notices until it matters. That is why we will not install a system we cannot afford to keep.

Where the money goes

What does your donation actually support?

Assess

Understanding the need, the people and the water before anything is bought.

Build

Funding the right system, fitted by trusted local specialists.

Maintain

Regular servicing and filter replacement — year after year.

Expand

Bringing the same model to more homes that need it.

A water project is not a one-time donation. It is a commitment that continues, one glass of water at a time.

Ask us

Could your organisation benefit from a clean-water project?

If you run a nonprofit, a children's home, a shelter or a care facility, we would like to hear from you. Tell us about the people you support and what your drinking water is like today.

There is no cost to asking, and no obligation. We assess the need first.
